Invention Description/ Abstract:

The medical service system has become an indispensable service in today's society, but the inefficient medical system has always been the biggest problem. The People's Medical Service System aims to address inefficiencies in the current healthcare system by enhancing convenience and reducing wait times for patients. The system addresses common issues such as long queues for medicine and navigating large, complex hospital structures. By leveraging AI audio technology, analyze the patient's condition and recommend medical help from relevant departments based on the condition, get navigation to relevant departments, and schedule doctor appointments more efficiently. The system is designed with the elderly in mind, allowing family members to assist those unfamiliar with the technology. Key benefits include faster medical consultations, a reduction in hospital crowding, and improved patient experience. The system's novelty lies in reducing bacterial transmission risks through fewer patient movements within the hospital and ensuring no patient gets lost in the hospital environment.

Invention Technical Description

The primary objective of the proposed system is to reduce patient wait times, simplify the medication pickup process, and enhance communication between patients and healthcare providers. By utilizing AI-based audio summarization, the system provides doctors with a concise overview of a patient’s symptoms, allowing them to focus on critical medical decisions without depending on the AI for diagnosis. Additionally, the system enables users to schedule medical appointments, select pickup locations for their medication, and receive reminders for upcoming appointments. This improves both time and resource management in healthcare facilities.

The system consists of several key components designed to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency. AI audio summarization converts patient speech into summaries for doctors, which helps them review cases quickly and make informed decisions. Appointment management features allow users to schedule visits, choose specific healthcare providers, and receive automated reminders through SMS or email. The system also incorporates location-based functionality, helping users find nearby hospitals or clinics with available medications and providing maps to navigate large healthcare facilities. Furthermore, patients can book medicine pickup appointments, check availability, and avoid unnecessary trips to overcrowded hospitals.
Among the system's core functions is the AI symptom summarization feature, which assists doctors by condensing patient information, thereby reducing the time spent understanding patient histories. Location-based medicine pickup allows users to choose convenient times and places for collecting prescriptions. Additionally, a built-in hospital map assists users in navigating complex hospital layouts. The system also supports online queuing for appointments, reducing physical wait times, and sends appointment reminders to ensure timely attendance. Personal and family accounts enable family members to assist elderly patients in managing their medical appointments and queuing.
The system will be built using Python for backend development and AI integration, while HTML is used to create a user-friendly front-end interface. AI functionalities, such as audio summarization, are integrated via external APIs. The system also connects to hospital and pharmacy databases through APIs, ensuring seamless access to critical information like medication availability and hospital services.
